HEAVY D
Dead at 44
Rap legend Heavy D -- one of the most influential rappers of the '90s -- died earlier today ... TMZ has learned.
Heavy D -- real name Dwight Arrington Myers -- was rushed to an L.A. hospital around noon today ... and was pronounced dead at the hospital at 1 PM. He was 44 years old.
We've learned a 911 call was placed from Heavy's Beverly Hills home around 11:25 AM to report an unconscious male on the walkway .
When help arrived, we're told Heavy D was conscious and speaking -- and was transported to a nearby hospital.
He died a short time later.
Cops are investigating the death -- and so far, there are no obvious signs of foul play. Police are currently at the home.
Heavy D had several massive hits -- including "Now That We Found Love." He also wrote and performed the theme song for "In Living Color" ... and appeared as an actor in the movie "Life."
Heavy just performed at the Michael Jackson Tribute Concert in Wales on October 8. He sang "Jam" with La Toya Jackson -- and rocked it .

Conrad Murray Found GUILTY Of Killing Michael Jackson!!
Conrad Murray was convicted Monday of involuntary manslaughter in the drug-overdose death of singer Michael Jackson after a jury deliberated for two days.
Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor handed the case to the seven-man, five-woman jury Thursday after closing arguments by prosecutor David Walgren and lead defense lawyer Ed Chernoff. Over nearly six weeks of testimony, jurors heard from 33 prosecution witnesses and 16 defense witnesses. More than 340 exhibits were available in the jury room as the panel mulled a verdict.
Jackson, 50, died on June 25, 2009, of an overdose of the surgical anesthetic propofol, aggravated by effects of the sedative lorazepam. Murray, 58, was charged with a single count of involuntary manslaughter. He pleaded not guilty. The jury delivered the verdict this afternoon. Conrad Murray was found GUILTY by a unanimous jury.

In Underage Sex Abuse Case
Rapper Big Sean has dodged a serious bullet -- TMZ has learned he will not be charged with sexually assaulting an underage girl back in August ... but he's not entirely in the clear.
23-year-old Sean -- who got a 2011 MTV VMA nomination for best new artist -- was arrested in August during a concert in Buffalo, NY ... after a 17-year-old girl told police the rapper and his friend had sexually assaulted her.
Big Sean -- real name Sean Michael Anderson -- was charged with 3rd degree sex abuse, forcible touching and 2nd degree unlawful imprisonment.
But now, TMZ has learned prosecutors agreed to drop the first two charges on the condition that Big Sean plead guilty to misdemeanor unlawful imprisonment ... which carries a $750 fine.
Sean's lawyer Scott Leemon tells TMZ, the rapper has accepted the terms -- and has paid the fine -- but still insists "he did not engage in any type of sexual misconduct."
